After Jayden revealed his relationship with Britney Spears in a recent interview, the pop princess addressed her tense relationship with kids Sean Preston and Jayden Federline in a series of audio messages shared on Instagram on Saturday, September 10.
Britney Spears said that she formerly spent more time with her children than with her ex-husband Kevin Federline. They were my pleasure; they were my everything, and from the time they were six to nine years old, I had them 70% of the time. Since they’ve been gone, I’ve genuinely felt like a large part of me has died and that I have no purpose anymore.
I didn’t understand how it was so simple for them to simply cut me off like that, she added. “I looked forward to seeing them. That was what I lived for, and then all of a sudden they were gone and I was like, “Did my heart just stop beating?”
Jayden Spears, Spears’ 15-year-old son, spoke with director Daphne Barak earlier this month; the conversation was printed in the Daily Mail and partially shown on ITV in the United Kingdom.
Jayden supported grandfather Jamie Spears, who oversaw the contentious conservatorship of Spears for 13 years until it was terminated in November, and grandma Lynne Spears in the interview.
Jayden affirmed, “They are not horrible people. They want our future to be what we want it to be and just want to keep an eye on us, they know what we are going through right now.
Spears quickly responded to her son’s Instagram comments.
Then, Spears wrote, “I have failed as a mother and hopefully that’s a chat for you and your father to sit face to face and try to learn WHAT’S GOOD. If you can honestly sit back and say with your sensible brilliant mind what memaw and paw did to me was fine and call them not bad people… then yes, they were not good people and I have failed as a mother.”
Jayden also commented on his mother’s most recent social media posts, many of which included pictures of Spears in her undies and extended rants about her family.
To garner some attention, he added, “it almost seems like she needs to post something on Instagram.” There’s a good probability that this will go on forever, but I’m praying for my sake that she will stop. This has gone on for years and years and years.
Spears appeared to draw a line in the future of their connection in one of the audio messages that she shared on Saturday in response to Jayden’s assertion that “she wants attention.”
Spears stated, “I do want to be heard, I’m mad, and I kind of unconsciously want to annoy people because I’ve been so (expletive) insulted. But I’m hesitant to tell you, folks, that unless I feel appreciated, I won’t be willing to visit you.
I paid you guys such lousy attention, Spears continued. “I’m sorry if I ever damaged you, folks, in any way; all I know is that my love for my children is more than anything.”
